Disneyland

We just got back from California where we went to Disneyland, saw Ben and Sarah and squished Lucas' cheeks. We said goodbye to Cory's grandpa Karl and played on the beach. It was pretty much heaven.

FMH Guest Post

Hey y'all. I was asked to guest post at Feminist Mormon Housewives this week and my first post is dear to my heart. Take a peak

Okay Mrs. Nicole Hudson - here you go

1. What is one thing you really hope to achieve this year? Maybe something you don’t publicize too much.
hmmm...moving to Salt Lake.
2. What is one thing you really hope to achieve in your life?
I'd like to produce a documentary with Cory and have it shown at Sundance or I'd like to write a book. A non-fiction memoir or something.

3. What is your favourite movie, and why?
Clueless - It gives me a toothache - Its an expression, it means you think its sweet.

4. What is your dream job?
I just got it! Doing Instructional Design.

5. If there were no limitations of any sort, what would your perfect life be at this very moment? (Where you’d be? What family? What job?)
I have my perfect family. We're doing things we love to do. It would be nice to live closer to some of my family. So maybe in a perfect world we'd have homes in Calgary, Toronto, California and a summer home in France!

6. Do you have any regrets?
Not really. Every decision in my life has led me here.

7. What is something not very many people know about you?
Most things that people don't know about me are that way for a reason, so I'm not really going to just blurt them out on a blog. Sorry guys. Wait here's one. I loved writing poetry in 7th grade but gave it up because I discovered I was too happy to be a poet.

8. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Living on the east coast, New York or Toronto. Working and writing a book.

9. What is your favourite thing about your boyfriend/spouse? Or about YOU if you aren’t in a relationship right now?
Everything

10. What is your favourite book, and why?
Bonds that Make us Free by Terry Warner. It will change your life.

11. Who is your hero? And why?
I have lots of heroes. Lots of them are feminist heroins that inspire me to do more for women. Sonia Johnson since I just read her book and Aayan Hirsi Ali
